Valdez Ski Report – April 18, 2016 Berlin Peak via Sunlight Basin

Welcome back salty Josh McDonald! Back in town from the South Pacific for a bit to ride, leaving the S/V Bema high, dry and lonely. Hope you like the tune to the video as it seemed appropriate

Today we rallied and decided to do a route I’d never done to the top of Berlin Peak(5740) from the south, which is the next basin to the east of Moonlight Basin. Very good skiing. Huge arena with nice snowy headwalls. I took my line off the summit and he took his and the we meet in the middle and rode to the highway in good time over mainly silky corn.
