Alyeska Ski Report – March 20, 2015

Spent yesterday and today getting lots of downhilling, but today was mostly skin laps(7) up to the High Traverse and some untracked powder short powder shots off the grooms at the upper mountain, which were filled with new, wet snow yesterday.   First time up to the Traverse, which has always been hammered or poor skiing on my previous handful of visits over the years. This was by far my best day in Girdwood with good snow and not too many people. Today was really nice and sunny. Hope to be back in Valdez in a few days, so leave some.
